I love this toy! I got my cat as a kitten and don't feel like he knew how to play gently. Therefore he attacks my hands! I love this toy because even with trying to train him not to, he now has a friendly way of playing with my hands instead of it being negative. 💖

From the moment this quetzel came out of the packaging and started flapping its beautiful wings, my cat was enthralled. She is all about the hunt! Then, after warming up with the puprpal nutjob squirrel for the past year, (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs because she "hunts" twice a day), she knew exactly what to do with the bird. The real feathers in the tail are a hit, but it's the flapping wings and darting action that catches her interest every time. She's happy to stalk my hand for as much time as I can give her! Excellent quality, as always, thoughtful design, and vibrant colors! We're lovin' it!
Our goldendoodle Willow has been enjoying NutJob the Squirrel for a long time and we were excited when Mulunova's newest creation, Quetzal the Bird puppet, became available. Just like their other puppet toy, Quetzal is made with plush, padded, quality materials and robust stitching. NutJob looks just like the day we received him, and this is after many, many playtimes and washings. We expect Quetzal to hold up in similar fashion. Quetzal comes with a detachable feather tail mini-toy that can be used for fun time with kitties. The thought and design that went into Milunova's second puppet toy are evident in every vibrant and tactile detail: sproingy tail, crinkly feet, printed wings, and multicolored, soft body. There is literally no other pet toy on the market that has the quality and workmanship of Milunova's excellent puppets and we are hopeful they continue to expand this toy line.
I was impressed with the quality of this toy. The only drawback - my cat seems to hate it, possibly because it is as big as her. I will keep trying to get her to play with it, but may end up donating it to a shelter. I do recommend highly, but it is not for everyone.
